I have vista, and have lots of trouble with windows mail. I would like to
activate my outlook 2003. When installing it asks for a product code. the
only product code I have is the office 2007 home/student (it doesn't work).
Can anyone help me

Why are you trying to activate Outlook 2003 with a 2007 code. Why are you
not using 2007??

2007 home/student didn't come with outlook. dell had 0ffice 2003 without
excel and powerpoint already on my computer when I received. (that is why I
got the 2007) I could not find any other product code beside the 2007, so I
figured I would try.

Hi there
home/student 2007 did not come with outlook 2007. my computer came in with
word 2003, which did not have excel/powerpoint. (why I have 2007 h/s). Using
the new vista windows mail I am always having issues. I would like to
install 2003 outlook, when asked for product code the only one I see is the
2007 h/s. I tried just incase it would work.

Providing your origonal, old version of Office was supplied was supplied
with this PC
then either Beleric advisor, or Magic Jellybean would be able to extract the
office key, assuming the 2007hs didnt upgrade it

The OP already said that s/he has Office 2007 Home and Student Edition.
That edition doesn't include Outlook.

Use the product key that came with your Outlook 2003. Dell will have
provided it as part of the paperwork that was shipped with your PC, if you
purchased your PC with a non-trial Office 2003.
