Is there anyone out there who would work as a consultant, to help me get my
ebook to market?

I have designed a web page in FrontPage, but being a computer wimp - I am a
bit confused as to the next steep. I understand I probably need a shopping
cart program - etc. The book was written in MS Word and I was planning on
publishing it in MS Reader format, but understand that might be a bit
limiting. I'm looking at a program called Desk TopAuthor, but am not sure
I have time to learn it. In other words - Help!!!!!

Thanks,

Bob Olin

I shopping cart for one item may be a bit of an overkill, unless you expect a rousing response (don't get me wrong...I hope you do have an incredible response) but you may be able to do what you want simply with Paypal.

Have you looked in your local yellow pages for website
developers? It might be more efficient to have face to
face meetings with your consultant as you admit to being
a computer wimp. Face to face meetings could improve the
communication since you probably don't speak "computer".

Thanks Rob - I was wondering about that too and perhaps using ClickBank
along with it. I guess I could send the book by email.

Paypal is great...easy too - especially when y ou have only a few items.

After I posted that msg. Chris Leeds posted a link for a photo album/slideshow thing, while I was checking that out I noticed the company that makes FlipAlbum also has a ebook thing & and a CD shoopping cart.

Check out FlipPublisher & CD Shopping Cart:

I have no idea if its any good or if it will do what you want...I was just thinking of you when I saw it...thought I'd pass it on.

There are plenty of ways that you can go about selling your eBook. Some
will be easier to use than others.

If you have a book in MS Word, you can convert it to a PDF format and
have it readable to any platform out there with a free PDF reader. If
you use MS Reader, you will face some limitations.

I work at PayLoadz.com and we have a turn key solution to sell eBooks
that comes complete with a cart system, payment processing, and
automated file delivery.

You can also to a Google search to find many of the other services out
there.

Best of luck!
