Hello - I maintain a humble personal website so I can post rants, vent
my spleen, etc. It's my first site (and looks it), but I managed to
mess it up somehow. I've discovered that I enjoy this and I am getting
ready to replace the website with something a tadmore mellow, but want
to correct the problem before I download the pages.

The other day I brought the website down to check for broken links.
When I published it back to the web I ended up with an extra nav bar
above the original bar on the left hand side of the page. This pushes
the text down about 5 inches and looks terrible.

The extra nav bar does not show in FP - any view. Any ideas on how I
can correct this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
jt

Are you up-to-date with services releases for office? If
you're not sure, browse:
http://office.microsoft.com/
and click Check For Updates.

There's also a bug in the FrontPage Server Extensions for
Unix that can cause this. For more information, browse
MSKB article 299360:

Incorrectly on UNIX Servers
