Can anyone please help me.

My 3 yr old PC running XP has burnt out the CPU & Motherboard (it won't
respond at all or even start up), so I've just bought a new PC - simplest way
forward. Trouble is, I need to get loads of files from my old hard drive, so
I've removed it from old PC and conneccted it to my new one vis the IDE? lead.

I set up 5 users on the old PC, me as the main one. All were password
protected users with different passwords for each user. I can access all of
the files under the other 4 users without any problem but not any of mine -
it simply pops up saying 'ACCESS DENIED'. I have tried making those
files/folders as shared ones but still no joy.

What do I have to do to access them? Do I have to enter my password
somewhere? If so where and how? Or is there a way of turning off the
protection?

Would be realy greatfull if someone can point me in the right direction.

Many thanks,

Stephen.
