ugh theres something wrong with my computer.. its a windows xp, and after a
while like of i lag out of something, all of the shortcuts are unclickable,
like there not even there, and when i move something in front of them like a
window, it erases all of the icons so i cant use any of my shortcuts... the
only way to get them back is to restart, and ive done that over and over and
when they come back, minutes later the same thing happens again!!!!!! also,
after my desktop becomes INACTIVE, anything i pull up and exit out of, it
stays as my desktop.. like if im on myspace, and i exit out, the page stays
up there, but like as my desktop! also, when i go into my task manager, i
have a cpu usage of 0-5%, no higher. this all started last week. yesterday i
did a viris scan with McAfee, and it detected 125 items, and 6 of them where
trojans, the rest where adware and cookies, and i deleted all the trojanss,
cookies, and adware... so i still dont know whats causing this... and, the
only way to clear out the page that gets glued onto my desktop, is to open
up another page, and like use it as a eraser to get rid of the page saved
onto there.. then when i exit out of that it glues onto there! ugh this is
so retarded, someone PLEASE help!

You post is very difficult to read.

Try reposting it using sentences with the correct punctuation and and
capitalization.

That being said, some suggestions

You have got your important data backed up to some external media haven't
you? If not do so as soon as possible

It would appear that your machine has been badly affected by Malware, in
addition to running McAfee (and make sure that McAfee has its virus
definitions up to date) you should also consider running some thing like
Spybot Search & Destroy
(http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html).

One your machine is free of spyware (malware) you will probably have to do a
repair install :-

It this does not work then a total reformat and reinstall is recommended
(make sure you have the relevant driver CDs to hand).
