Please can someone help me??
For some reason when i turned my laptop on the other day
it has started showing an error everytime any new window
is open whether it be Internet Explorer, Word, My
Documents...etc
It displays Windows Installer for Word 2002, goes through
the locating computer settings and what its trying to
install i have no idea. It Then says please wait hile
Windows configures Microsoft Word 2002 but a little way
through it says Error, the feature that you are trying to
use is on a Network resource not available.....click ok
to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder
containing the installation package 'WORDRET.MIS' in the
box below.
No matter how i try i cannot locate this file on my
laptop and if you click cancel it displays the following
error 'error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files.
Check your connection to the network. or CD Rom drive.
For other potential solutions, see
C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\Office1033\SETUP.HLP.
I have gone through all the CD's / Floppy Discs provided
when i bought the Laptop but i cannot find the Install
Disc and i know for a fact it came pre-loaded because i
was shocked as id always had to load the software on
previous pc's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as im now at my
wits end!!!
