Help me delete my delete folder

I currently have 100 e-mails stuck in my deleted items box.

When I try to delete them either individually or by using the Empty 'Deleted
Items' Folder it tells me "An unknown error has occurred"

I am running Windows Vista Home Basic with AVG Free.

A fix as been released by M$ to resolve the problem of undeletable mails:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"

It works for all folders.

If you used the standard install for AVG, it may also help to
uninstall it and then do a custom install where you tell it to
leave out the part that scans email.

Had the same problem, download the following patch:

support.microsoft.com/default/aspx/kb/941090

Sovled this error.
