I'm in serious trouble....I have a company issued laptop and I've never ever
have had a problem until tonight. I tried to set it up to my home office
network by using the network wizard. When it said that it needed to reboot
for the changes to take affect it rebooted fine. Now here's the big problem,
after I press ctrl+alt+delete and type in company issed username and password
it doesn't recognize it. Oh by the way I'm using Windows XP Professional.
Any suggestions? I can't make any progress from the log in screen.

My guess is that it was in a domain, and that the wizards's taken it out.

You previous account won't work if it was a domain account, and the computer
is no longer a domain-member. In this case you need to use a local account
to log on. You might need to ask you site admin what local accounts exist on
laptops.
