Hi!

I have trouble giving right PCL command to my Kyocera FS1020D printer
to use tray1 (lower tray) to print even if manual feed containms paper.

I donloaded PCL commands. Here are I tried:

ESC &l1H
ESC &l4H
ESC &l8H

and many other numbers instead of 1, 4 and 8. doc says this is PCL
command for paper source.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Kyocera handles much of this with it's own Prescribe language.

I tried prescribe as well, the page you suggested tried but nothing
happened.
If in windows I choose lower tray it works but if I use DOS and program
PCL it does not work.

What I need is:

write(lst, <COMMAND>);
write(lst,'something sample text');

my question is: what is "COMMAND" if I want 'something sample text"
printed on paper the printer takes it from lower tray.

It is that simple question
thanks
