Help: KB835732 (sasser) fix makes my system use 50% CPU

After several painful installation sessions I have to conclude that on one
of my machines the KB835732 fix causes my PC to use 50% of the system
process.

Any one else encounters this issue?
What could cause it?
What did they fix with this?
