I've managed to screw around windows xp in hope of disabling the autostart
feature which was needed for a client, however, I went into folder settings,
filetypes tab, then selected "units" (I'm swedish so I'm not 100% sure I'm
saying the correct thing here). I went into advanced settings and I messed
around here and managed to set "search" to standard. Now each time I click
"My Computer" then a unit, the search window appears, very annoying. And the
most annoying this is that I can't delete this thing in the advanced
settings...

I'd REALLY appreciate any help here!

Thanks..
