HELP i've accidently uninstalled internet explorer

i don't no what i've done. i was trying to uninstall outlook express as i
have outlook 2003 now, and i went to add/remove programs and outlook express
wasn't there so i clicked add/remove windows components, made sure outlook
express was ticked then when i'd finished internet explorer disapeared from
desktop and start menu. any idea where it is? and how i can get it back? it
must be here somewhere as it comes up when i do windows update it says im in
internet explorer. advice please.

For reasons that pass understanding, there are certain components of Outlook
Express that are required by Internet Explorer and Outlook 2003. Reverse the
process you used to uninstall Outlook Express to reinstall it. Hope this
helps.

Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Internet Explorer
(checked?)

NB: OL might not work properly if you uncheck OE in Add/Remove Windows
Components.
