help improve performance

Im considering buying either more RAM (256MB) for my windows XP, or a new
radeon graphics card (ATI RADEON(r) 9550 256MB AGP), and I was wondering
which of the 2 would help me improve game performance for 3D games. Can
anyone help me decide?

What's in your machine at the moment? And what are some of the heavyst
games you plan on playing?

my computers a dell 4600, i have 256MB of RAM currently and an Intel graphics
card. it was what orriginally came with my computer. it just barely meets the
system requirements for the games, but so does the amount of RAM i have.

I think the graphics card would give the best boost for games. The Intel
graphics chips are utterly useless for gaming.

But doubling your RAM would give the whole system a nice increase and is
really something that needs to be done too.
