help importing cell

Hi can someone help me with the formula for importing the value of
cell
from one worksheet to another.
For example the value of cell a1 from worksheet x to current sheet
I believe the formula starts with ~

Hi

You can use something like this:
=sheet1!A1
in the cell to show what is in that cell on your current sheet.
