Help identify this spyware

At some irregular intervals I get whole page popups with a blue baground and
the following text in the middle:

"Warning! Window has detecteed SPYWARE INSTALLED on your computer
Click to search the recommended spyware removal tools"

Also, my display settings are mysteriously changed and the same popup page
is placed as my default web background page

I have norton2005, Spysweeper and PestPatrol but none have been able to
detect it or remove it.

Any helpful suggestions would be most welcome.

Do this:

Download AdAware SE 1.05 Personal from www.downloads.com - install,
update and run it in full mode - perhaps even boot into safe mode to run it.

Update SpySweeper and run a full scan in safe mode.

Download SpyBot SD 1.3 from www.downloads.com - install, update and run it.

Open Internet Explorer - click tools, options, programs - reset all
programs.

Shutdown Internet Explorer and reboot into normal mode.
