HELP! I THINK I LOCKED MYSELF OUT OF MY DATABASE!

Please Help! I recently created a small database that would be shared by
mulitple users. Some of the tables in the database will store sensitive
material and I needed to create user level security. This database will be
shared on a network. I used the security wizard to set up users. All I did
was add users to the default "Users" group. The only user belonging to the
Admins group, was the default "admin". I did not create another
administrator because I assumed that I could log in as admin, but apparently
I can't. When I closed the database I could no longer get into the db
without a password which I thought was a good thing. However, when I moved
to another computer station I could get to the database without MS Access
requesting a password. Because I could not log in as an Administrator I
can't remove the security settings. I thought deleting the database would
solve my problem and that I could recreate the database and start over.
However, after I deleting this file, I discovered another problem. Access is
now reequesting a login and password from me when I open ANY database.
Please help me correct this issue!

I thank-you in advance for your prompt reply and much needed assistance!

You did not follow all the steps. When you move to another computer and
revert to the default SYSTEM.mdw file, it logs in as Admin. Since you chose
to ignore several steps in the security FAQ, this lets folks have full
access.

Go back and do it according to the instructions. Don't assume you can skip
steps. They are all there for a reason.

As far as allowing you to log in, yo uneed to delete your MDW files. When
you restart Access, it will create a brand new clean SYSTEM.MDW file that
will allow you to get in w/o a password.
