HELP I need to retrieve old infor that I have saved new stuff over

Please Help. How can i retrieve the infomrtion that I have saved other stuff
over the top i.e. i was doing some work and when i saved it i clicked on the
wrong origianl file name and therefore, have los tall the original work that
I still desperately need. I am scared to turn computer off if there is
something i can do now to rectofy this problem and get back my original data
(have now saved back-up copy of new stuff - so this is safe i just need
orignal information back).

Please someone help me

You need to do nothing else on that machine or you could overwrite the
old file. I think you could find it with an Undelete program. Download
the program to another machine, save to a floppy or thumbdrive, then run
the program on the machine in question.
