Help, I keep getting this error

Everytime i shut down the PC or log off i get a computer not responding
message which will not let me log off, at the top of the box it says "End
Program - MciOlDVR" and i havent a clue to what it is.
Please can some help me to get rid of this problem.

Well Jamie, try to press ALT + DEL + CTRL and see what processor didn't
release the Memory on CPU and let us know or look in your Event viewer for
any Error message by type this in the Run command:
eventvwr click [OK].
From the DVR I assume it is the DVD write on your machine but this a guess,
try to scan for malware on your computer and viruses to be sure that it is
not a viral infection so to eliminate that and focus on Applications/Hardware
problem
