I was able to figure out how to do a Producer Powerpoint presentation with
music and slides at the timed intervals. I was able to preview the whole
show. But I dont know how to presnet it, so that it projects on a big
screen.

It is for a class, and my teacher has her computer connected to a big
screen. I just dont know how to get it to be like a real slide show.

I copied the files to Pac and Go, but could not put it on a CD, but I can
use the file off the network drive.

Thanks, Ann

Ann,

Couple of things....

1) If you are using Producer, there is an MS Producer newsgroup that should
have better Producer-specific answers
2) If you are looking to put the PowerPoint on a CD, save to your Hard
Drive, then burn the folder to CD separately
3) If you are working off a network, save the files to your local Hard
Drive, then run off the HD
4) The teacher probably has his/her computer configured for projection.
Since she uses the projector, I'll assume she has a second video card
installed and configured. You can check (on the teacher's computer) under
the Slide Show -> Set Up -> Display on ... and select Secondary Monitor. If
this option is grayed out, then both the main screen and the secondary
screen will show the exact same thing, otherwise you will see the design
pane on the teacher's monitor while the class sees the show on the
projection screen

5) I hope this propagates to the newsreader forum you are using in time to
be of use. Many of these third party "services" lag many hours behind the
Microsoft newsgroups.
