Rick

Thank you inadvance, when I try to install any software, I get an error
stating-
"C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.NT The system file is not suitable for running
ms-dos and windows applications. choose 'close' to terminate the
application."
I then have to close it!

I'm running windows XP - please help I don't understand why it has started
to do this!!!!

WindowsXP will not install a DOS application. Apparently, that's what you're
trying to install.
