Help? How to tell if a document is Word 2003

Apologies for the double-post - this is on the General Office questions group
as well.

Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated:

Is there a way for a Word 2000 user to find out if a document was generated
with Word 2003? Looking under Tools > Compatibility does not work for Word
2000 users so any other hints or tips would be gratefully appreciated!

Depending on how you received the document, you may be able to tell by
setting the Open dialog to the Properties view.
