Hi all,

My motherboard went bang and the new one has a different chipset, so i have
completely rebuilt it from scratch using a fresh format.

What i would like to do is now restore my outlook profile from my backup,i
have a complete system backup to hand, so i can restore anything needed.

I know where all my emails are and have restored them to the new disk, but
dont want to have to setup the profile from scratch, as had multiple pop/imap
accounts, rules, other tweaks .. etc.

unfortunately by last "save settings wizard" backup was over a year ago, so
dont really want to resort to that.

Anyone able to help with how i can do this, i have tried restoring the
outlook folders in my profile, to no avail.

Its windows XP Pro with Outlook 2003 ... Any help appreciated, thanks.

Chris.

Since the mail profile is kept in the Windows Registry, if you had to
reinstall Windows, then you're out of luck. If you just reused your old
hard drive and let it discover your new hardware, I'm unsure why it would be
gone.
