Help! How to hide the removable disk items in the folder view of Explorer Except CD?

Hello! There are about 5 removable disk items in the Explorer's leftside
view of my computer,
How to hide them? I mean hide them when there is no media in them and show
while there is.
just like the usb port does.

You can remove the drive letter association in Disk Management.
Click on Disk management, right click on the volume that is associated with
that drive, choose Change Drive Letter and Paths. you can then highlight
the drive letter and click remove.

Note: From here you can always reassign them a drive letter or even
associate them with a path rather than a drive.

Right click on my computer, choose manage,
