I am having problems getting rid of web address even after
I clear history, delete files, or delete cookies.

Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of web address
that won't go away through traditional measures?

when deleting file.did you also delete offline content
check box. and then go to content and turn off auto
complete and likewise.
