help, help, help please!

i was on a coworker's computer and his settings were up,
i logged out of his user to guest and then when i wanted
to return to his account i couldn't find his settings!
his user has disappeared!
all i did was log out!
i need to fix the prob before he comes to work tomorrow
or else he's going to kill me!

please help!!

what happened???
