Hello All,
I have, what I thought, would be an easy problem to solve. But, I am pulling my hair out trying to solve it. Can anyone help???
The problem is;
I have an excel file with a cell in it that is hyperlinked to another excel file. So the user just has to select that cell and it takes them to the other excel file. No problem so far.
However, I want to pull in specific data from the hyperlink file into another cell in the original file. For example, the hyperlinked file has address details in it. So, I want to show the address in the original file.
I thought all I had to do was to direct the other cell in the original file to the cell with the hyperlink and then tell it to retrieve the data I want. In this case, the address details and show the address in the cell.
I have seached high and low for the answer to this problem but cannot find one.
Can anyone help me?
