HELP! have agentSS .ssf files being written to C drive NONSTOP!!!

This morning I woke up to my PC telling me that I was
almost out of space on the C drive! I had about 5 Gigs
last weekend! Everything was running WAY SLOW and I
started hunting around for whatever took all my space. I
finally found that every minute, non-stop I something is
writing a .ssf file into a AgentSS folder in the Windows
root folder. They They smallest one I found was 30KB but
they are getting larger in size. They are each in the 190-
227KB range now. I was able SOMEHOW to get access to
those files (Windows Explorer kept on "not responding")
and deleted over 57,000 files! I can empty that folder
now and watch each file appear as it is written.

I HAVE NO IDEA what is writing those files! If anyone has
any ideas or has had this happen to them, PLEASE tell me
what to change, hack, delete, uninstall...whatever.

Well, its under control now, after I posted this message
I decided there wasn't anything I could do but go ahead
and troubleshoot it myself. I got it handled in 4 hours
of administration.
