help - freezing up problems

Hi -= I am trying to update windows xp but each time I do, my computer
freezes - also, i tried right clicking on my computer, properites automatic
updates tab - but this just crashes/freezes the computer completely - even
ctl, alt +del does nothing and have to reboot. and round and round in circles
I go !!! can someone help please :) my thanks Barbara
 
there is free technical
support from microsoft
exclusively for update
problems.
