I seriously hope someone can help me urgently!

You know how FP defaults to the last site you worked on?
Well, that's fine as I can open FP that far, but when I go
to open another web, it freezes (and everything else for
that matter). Even the X button at the top righthand
corner greys out. I have to reset the pc as it is the
only thing I can do.

I have run a Detect & Repair but no difference.

I have even gone File, New Web but still no difference.

Please help someone! I have urgent sites to work on!

Thanks

Tessa

Try setting FP to not open the last open web under Tools | Options, then close FP.

Re-open FP and then try opening the web or another web using File Menu | Open Web / Site

Tessa:
You can change that default under Tools | Options.

Delete the cached (and possibly corrupted) copies of your webs - Close
FrontPage, and do a Find | Files and Folders | Named *.web, and delete them.
Delete your FrontPage Temporary Files - With FP running and your web open,
Tools | Web Settings | Advanced, delete Temporary files. NB: The FrontPage
2003 temporary folder location has changed from the location that is used by
earlier versions of Microsoft FrontPage.
