Help Folder problem ???

Some how I now have 2 of my Documents folder with same information and sub
folders? Can not
delete extra one? How do I get back to only 1 my documents folder?

What exactly makes you think you have two copies? You will probably find
that there is only one copy.

Here's a simple test. Create a marker text file, perhaps called
"OriginalText.txt". Doesn't matter what's in it. Place this in one of the
My Documents folders, and now, go look at the "other" My Documents folder.

If you see that marker text file in both sections, there is only one set of
folders, and you actually have two shortcuts to it.

If you don't see the marker file, post back with more details of what
exactly you do and what is seen.

Do you really have two - or do you have two 'shortcuts' to the single
instance?

Your users' my documents folder (default - without changes) can be reached
in this way:

Start button --> RUN --> type in (*with* the quotation marks):

"%userprofile%\my documents"

--> Click OK.

That will take you to C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\my
documents\ *, which is - by default - where your My Documents folder (the
shortcut you see on your desktop and in the start menu possibly) is actually
located. (* Yes, the C:\ may be different and even with modification
before/during install, the documents and settings folder may be different -
DEFAULT!))

That is the ACTUAL physical location of your My Documents system folder.

Did you MOVE your my documents folder?
