Help, folder across the top of desktop?

P

Paul T

I made a new folder on my desktop to collect pics into for a slide show, I
grabbed it and dragged it to the top of the desktop to make it easier to
drop files into and some how it turned into a large gray space across the
top of my desktop. The original folder was still there on the desktop also,
it worked nicely, every file I dropped in was shown in the grey box but when
I was done and deleted the file the big grey box with the file name is still
across the top of my desktop and I cannot find a way to delete it or shrink
it or anything, only thing I can do with it is grab the bottom of the box
and make it bigger or smaller, I want get rid of it! When I right click in
it it only gives the choices you'd get if you right clicked on the desktop
itself.. Like I said the orginal folder deleted just fine and all the files
that were in it disappeared in the box going across the top of the desktop
but the box is still there..Please help..

If you right click inside the grey box and chose Toolbars the drop menu will
show you the tool bars open uncheck this new one and the grey box/tool bar
will go away.
