help fixing IE6

I can't uninstall or fix IE6. My operating system is windows XP. What should I do?
 
If you have the Win XP disk , insert it and go to start then run and type:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132
c:\windows\inf\ie.inf



This will reinstall IE.

If this does not sort the problem, post details about the problem

I did all that but the problem is that there's files missing like 'IEXPLORE.EXE'. is this normal?
