Help Find My Network Settings

I have a win XP and Win 98 networkedwhen I go to Run /
winipcofig I get all the info IP/Gateway ex..... And all
is working will on my pc, but when i go to
networkNaberhood and look at the Propriety of my network
and the card there is no info there NO IP /NO gateway No
nothing just all blank not even find automatic. and when
i go to IE tools and internet option / Connections / LAN
NO gateway NO IP Not even find automatically but it works
how can i find out so i can set up other pc on the net to
go though the just for internet

Hi,

If settings are assigned automatically, they will not show up in
Internet Protocol Properties. As long as there is a selected box by both
"obtain automatically" controls, it is getting settings itself.

If you are using ICS, your other PC can just be connected to the
network. Leave all the settings on automatic, and IIRC it should all work.
