Help Files corrupted? XOX

When I go to my XP Help files, I often find entire
paragraphs with XOX replacing whatever belongs there. I
checked the "knowledge base" and found a reference to
Vision software, which I don't have installed. I have
checked the "stop debugging" thing recommended in that -
but it hasn't helped. Also - much of the graphics
and "related topics" screens are unavailable or won't
display.

How do I "reload" the help files?

Well, I think I need more of a path than that - because
when I just type that in the "run" window, it says that
it can't find the file. Should I put the installation
disk in first and path it to that?

Thanks!
Bill
