HELP!!! expsrv.dll error

R

Roy

I am having problem with this DLL.

When I go to the command prompt and type :
regsvr32 expsrv.dll
I get the following error.

expsrv.dll was loaded, but the DLLRegisterServer Entry
point was not found.

DllRegisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version
of expsrv.dll may be in memory. Consider using PView to
detect and remove it.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Thanks

Roy.

Hello Jerold,

I am more confused about how to fix the error after reading
the links than I was before I read the links.

IF you understand how to fix the error or kill the process,
is it possible you can take a minute and please explain it
to me in layman terms.

It's not that I am lazy, but it seems to be unless you are
some kind of techie, you can barely even understand what
they say. The only think I recognize is that my error show
up on their list. But they offer not explanation as to why
it shows up on the list or how to specifically fix it.

So any help you would be willing to provide would be very
helpful.

Thanks.

See Gary Smith's reply.
Try booting to safe mode to do it.
