Help!!! DVD-ROM not reading DVD-rom

Hi, can anybody hepl me. I have a DVD "Samsung DVD-ROM SD-616T" which does
read cd-rom but I can't get it to read DVD-game that I am about to install.
 
Hi Rune,

Has it ever worked in the past or is this a new install of your DVD?

If it's new, have you installed its drivers yet? Although XP will
recognize some of the DVD players out there, you still will probably
require driver installation.
