Hi there,

I have one pc with the P4P800 motherboard, XP Pro2000 OS installed. And it
has some problems with the driver and I can see it in the "Device
Manager". there are two errors:
One is for "PCI Multi I/O Card", the other is "Microsoft System Management
BIOS Driver".
And every time the pc is restarted, it always find a new hardware and
determin it "PCI 4037A Multi I/O Adapter", asking to insert the install
disk, I have already tried insert the P4P800 motherboard CD, but it did
not work. So where I could find the driver for it?

also, how can I fix the error with "Microsoft System Management BIOS
driver"?

Thanks,

Jessica

Microsoft System Management drive may also be known as "SM BUS", which is
normally part of the chipset. Installing the correct chipset drivers should
fix this.

Have the Delux version of this board and also the "Microsoft System
Management BIOS Driver". It appears to be an MS driver, the one I have is
mssmbios.sys from SP2. You may have to install the intel chipset drivers
(or update them) before this device will work... can't say as I had no
problem with it.

The other object you mention must be directly related to an addon of your
machine. I do not find it in my device manager at all. It almost sounds
like a card reader or some such device, but that is only a guess.

Good Luck,
Len
