Help Downloading Outlook 2007 Beta

Hello, I have successfully purchased Microsoft Outlook 2007 Beta. However,
the website will not allow me to download the executable file. Once
purchased, I was only given the option to download Outlook 2007 with Business
Contact Manager. I have saved the .exe file to my harddrive but when I try
to open it, the file tells me that I need to install Outlook 2007 first. So
apparently, the Microsoft Website will only allow you to install the BCM
add-on and not Outlook 2007. Any one have any suggestions on where to go to
download the actual Outlook 2007 Beta package?

The application you need to download is Office 2007. The "Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager" is misnamed, because it does not include Outlook, only the BCM add-in for Outlook.

Thanks for responding so fast Sue. I can certainly see how it is misnamed,
however I did not see an option for Outlook 2007 as a standalone on the Beta
downloads page. Am I just blind and it is in fact listed on the downloads
page? Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Yes, you'll see that option if you run Office 2007 and choose a customized installation.

I covered this in my earlier response when I said what application to download. If your purchase won't allow that, use the link at the bottom of the page to contact the company hosting the downloads for Microsoft to see if they'll let you switch downloads.
