Hi,

I have installed teh east asian fonts on my computer and can input with teh IME fine, when i go to a website i can see teh characters ok. The problem is if I am chatting with someone or recieve an email that is written in chinese the characters are not displayed. I get only jumbled letters and sympbols something like this.....
h#J(WJHRFO(@&^&@G@*@G:"@:@"<#
How can i change this so that i can see the characters? I am using an english version of XP pro, but shouldn't make a difference! thanks.

- Go to control panel, Regional and Language Option.

- Go to the tab Advanced

- In the Code page conversion tables, check all that is related to the
version of Chinese you need (Traditional or Simplified).

That should work.
