Hi there!
After having encountered a crash and after rebooting, the following
2 errror screens popps up: Missing/error "MSINET.OCX" and
"C:\XPPRO\bxxs5.dll" (=RUNDLL), as well as having no longer
Internet access (and this via LAN AND dial up anlago modem!),
I then selected a previous Restore Point and evrything seem to
be "just perfect then"...as long as I was using only "Hibernate"
afterwards.
But when I cliick at the "Turn Off" button, above three faults will
show up again, as if i hadn't put my PC back to a previous
Restore Point!! (So then I must select once again "System Restore"
to regain Internet access and avoid thos 2 error popups-windows...
So could pls somone let me know now, how on earth it's possible
that my PC can be restored at first to a faultless functioning (thanks
to a "good" Restore Point), but seems to go back to the old faulty
setting if rebooted "all the way??
Thanks a lot in advance for any explsntion and posible "cure"...
