Dear all,

I recently deleted files on my windows NT server from my
windows 2000 workstation.

It was a recently completed 3d job that my client will
need some more work done to it.

Is there a way i can recover this work???

I hope some one can help, it was a big job taking over 3
weeks, the last thing i want to do is redo the job.

Thank you in advance to all who reply

Cheers

Your best bet is, of course, to retrieve your files from
backup. Every important file must be backed up
regularly (and must be left on the backup medium!).

The next approach is to install your hard disk in some
other Win2000 PC and run some of the following tools:

http://www.hddrecovery.com.au
http://bootmaster.filerecovery.biz
http://www.restorer2000.com/r2k.htm

It is essential that you do NOT touch your hard disk
in any way: Every activity increases the risk of your
files being overwritten.

Seeing that the files were deleted from a server disk
three weeks ago, you may have to treat this experience
as an expensive learning exercise.
