Every time I click on a "click to enlarge image" all I get is a flash
of a frame that may or may not have something in it. It goes to fast
to see. It isn't limited to one site, it appears to be the same on all
sites. I'm not sure if it's an IE problem or a Windows problem. Has
anyone else had this problem?
I'm running XP Media Edition, IE7, 1GB memory. I use AVG, AD-Aware,
Spybot and Windows Defender. TIA,
Walt

If this is occurring in IE7, it's best to post to the internet explorer
newsgroup.

There are quite a few posts there so peruse them for something on topic
before posting a new message.

Since you're using Ad-Aware, most likely Ad-Watch is loaded also. It may
be "seeing" the the intended image as an AD and is preventing it from
loading.
Look in the system tray (lower right portion of the screen) and see if you
notice one of the icons start flashing red. If so, then simply right click
it,
a menu box will pop up, and click on "monitoring active" and it will
disengage. Repeat the click to re-engage monitoring.

I have done that. It occures in both IE6 and IE7. And I have posted to
the IE7 newsgroup. To date nothing has appeared that works.

I do use AD-Aware, but the free one which doesn't support AD-Watch.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
