Help... Checking Email using .NET?

Is it possible to check emails through .NET?
Using MAPI is preferred

Yes, of course it is. Just add reference, switch to the COM tab & thenadd the
MAPI control. Be aware that you will get the security errors if sending mail
though.

My advice would be to use Sockets

Why do you prefer MAPI? MAPI is a big hassle, especially for retrieving mail.
