Hi all,

I am running Internet Explorer 6 and everytime I try to connect to
weather.com from my home computer, I get the "The page cannot be displayed"
message - cannot find server or DNS error. In fact, I also have a weather
application that tries to go out on the internet to update its weather
information - and it doesn't work either. However, I can load and view any
other web page fine - just weather.com. I thought it might be a router
problem, but my laptop (which also runs WinXP with IE 6) connects to my home
router via a wifi connection sharing my same internet connection - can surf
over and load the weather.com site without problems.

I don't get why my home desktop can't see this site - I've checked the
security settings, and they seem the same - is there some list on my desktop
that is preventing me from logging onto the weather.com site?

Any ideas would be helpful,
Thanks.

do you have weatherbug???? SPYWARE!!! uninstall it and
scan with spybot to remove the leftovers safer-networking.org

Could it be anything else?

I have run Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy and they both turn up
negative. Its really baffling.

I have also removed the HOSTS file as well and weather.com still doesn't
come up.
