Help! Can't save edited form after upgrading to 2007

All users on our network (4 of us) have finally be upgraded to Access
2007 from 2003, so I converted a 2003 database to 2007. And no, the
database has not been split (sorry, not going to try that until
everything works). The forms open, but won't let me save any editing
I try to do. I try saving it when it's open, but nothing happens. I
try to exit the form, it asks if I want to save my changes, I say
yes, and again nothing happens. The form does not save, does not
close--it just sits there mocking me! Grrrr... Any ideas?

I should add that this is happening when I am in design view and try
to add a combo box to do a search of records in the form, or when I
just add a field from the record source. Any changes made to the
actual data in any field are saving fine.
