help, can't run .exe files

i ran panda titanium antivirus which found 400 viruses.
the program deleted the antivirus with the infected files
including some important windows files (!)
these files include: msawindows.exe, SMSSfd.exe and other
SMSS??.exe files, cmd.ftp and various spool??.exe files.
where can i get these files WITHOUT reinstalling windows?
i need detailed information as i am not a very advanced
windows user.

Hi,

Chances are, most of those removed files are not real Windows files, they
just had names to make them look like they were. Trust in your AV and allow
it to remove them. If you are having trouble with executables, it's because
all the bugs damaged the file association. This you can repair with a quick
fix from MVP Doug Knox here:

Grab the .exe file association fix and run it.
