I have the following files in a backup and want to copy them to Outlook on my
new hard drive. I do not use Outlook E-Mail at present. I want my schedule,
my contact list, and my tasks. I have as follows:
outcmd - a DAT file
Outlook - an Office Data File
Outlook - an XML Document
Outlook.srs - an SRS file
and outlprnt - type just says "file"

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Bob

Thank you Vince - I think I've not backed up correctly as I see no .pst file.
Major problem, but the article will help for the future. Have a new problem
- Tried to open Outlook with Business Contact Manager and got an error
message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." This causes
contacts to crash when I am trying to repopulate. I have checked to be sure
that everything is up to date. Any thoughts on this one???

Not sure but did you do a full reinstall of Office since it seems like some
part of BCM isn't installed or registered.

I think I did a full reinstall - also did Office updates. What do you think
of uninstalling BCM? Maybe both that and Outlook and then doing a custom
reinstall? My fear is that with the office updates already there it would
cause confusion.
Bob

You can try uninstalling BCM but I'm not sure if that would help or hurt at
the moment
