Help: Canon i850 now prints with a striong green color cast.

I have been geting some excellent prints from from my Canon i850 but
suddenly started to get a dark green cast on my pics. I have done a nozzle
check and a head alignment but still get the green cast.
Would be grateful for any help to fix this problem.

That sounds like you may have mixed yellow and blue. A deep cleaning should
help. Check the color of each of you tanks.

Look at your carts to ensure they are not cross contaminated.

The print head has an internal leak. Hope it is still in warranty.
They cost about $77.00

I had the similar problem with my i850 after I did refill.

It turns out that I did not seal well enough for the refilled
carts causing ink leaking slowly. What happened was that the leaked
ink will pool at the park pad causing cross contamination. After
I resealed all the carts, the problem went away gradually (there could
be some ink left in the head shortly after the fix).

So, in your case, check your carts for leakage first. And also, check
and clean the park pad also.

Hope that helps.
