I use the Windows XP operating system and also use
Internet Explorer as my default web browser. I recently
went to SBC DSL and added a Linksys 2.4 "B"wireless
router. Now for the question:

Everything works great now with the exception of one
thing...When I access my web browser and sign onto a
website or message board and the window comes up with the
box "Remember my ID nextime" and I check this box, it
does not remember me the next time on any site I did this
with.I have never had this problem before. Must be
something wrong with my settings or something...perhaps
even with the router settings...What I end up doing is
signing on each time. Even when I checked the remember me
setting on my rounter it doesn't work!

Any ideas of what the problem is here??

Thanks to all for anything you can suggest...

Try this...
from internet options, general, delete files/offline content.
Also,
internet options/content/autocomplete/clear forms and passwords
