HELP!!! Can I recover everything in Outlook XP?

Hello All,

I need to know if there is any way to recover everything in Outlook after
re-installing WinXP?

Here is what happened...

Had WinXP running fine. Added a 2nd disk drive and installed Win2K Pro.
After that, WinXP would not boot. I now know why and that is not a big
problem. However, Office XP w/Outlook was loaded under WinXP and I need to
be able to recover all that information. I had not archived anything out of
Outlook. If I re-install WinXP, is there anyway to recover what was in
Outlook?

Additional info:
I am running a home network. 1 Win2K server and one desktop. The desktop
has a 60Gb disk. C: drive was approx. 8Gb. The rest was the D: drive. C:
drive had the OS and a couple of apps. Office XP and most other apps were
on D: The documents & settings directory was on the C: drive. I had
several directories in here from previous installations of the Server OS.
I'm pretty sure which was the current directory. No group policies or
anything else that would affect the behind the scenes operation of anything.
The server has Exchange, SQL Server and SMS but they are not really being
used. There are 2 users in the domain and 2 local user accounts under XP.
Both users had POP3 (I think) Internet email accounts configured in Outlook.
Outlook has all the email from the Internet and this is what I need to be
able to recover. So again, is there a way to recover everything in Outlook
after re-installing WinXP? BTW, I do want to keep Win2K on the 2nd drive
that was installed.

TIA,

Rich

Try searching your drives for the .pst files that go with Outlook. If your Outlook program is still there, there's a good chance that the .pst file is still there too. Before you reinstall XP see if you can find it and back it up. I have reinstalled and not lost data but did lose programs, but not being familiar with the kind of set up you have I cannot say definitively that it would be safe.
